  Performance Chips For

These Performance Modules are designed to command your Lexus' Electronic Control Unit (ECU) which regulate fuel/oxygen ratios. This is a balanced mix between power and fuel economy, richening the fuel in the mix will cause a slight reduction in fuel economy, but an increase in performance. These Performance Modules enhance performance in multiple ways. First, it modifies signals being read by the ECU, causing an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what creates the increase in horsepower and torque, as well as improves throttle response and shift speed.

Secondly is the "Extreme-Heat Correction" In short, when the engine compartment heats up, some sensors that relay important fuel/oxygen ratio information to the ECU begin to lose accuracy due to heat absorption into the sensor. The ECU then incorrectly reads these signals, and lowers the fuel in the ratio, which is bad for performance. These errors cannot be corrected from within the computer, there must be an independent unit to correct these errors. These Performance Modules are designed to automatically compensate for these signal errors.
